June - Mini Musing
Listen to my new song, "Hotdogs with Jesus"
If you’re reading this and thinking, “why the heck would he write about eating a hotdog with Jesus Christ?” then read this before listening. If this didn’t phase you at all and you thought, “yeah, this checks out”, then I hope you enjoy it.
Hotdogs With Jesus
I had a hotdog with Jesus and I asked if he sees us
Right before He asked for napkins from our waitress named Beth.
Well Beth was a big fan and she cried and said, “Hey man.
I love all your books and your miracles too.”
Ch. And I want you to know that wherever I go
I can feel you walking beside me
And whenever I can, I fold up my hands
And I thank you for this little life.
He gave Beth a hug and she brought frosted mugs
And our hotdogs, she said, were now on the house
With ketchup and mustard my cheeks filled with fluster
I choked down my dog and I told him again
Ch. I want you to know that wherever I go
I can’t feel you walking beside me
So wherever I stand, I fold up my hands,
And I curse you for this little life.
Well, Jesus just ate and he soon cleaned his plate
And He asked if I’d split a slice of red cherry pie
I stared and I shrugged with my fresh frosted mug
And Beth threw in a free cup of coffee
B. And he looked at me with warm golden eyes
He said, “I want you to think on your life.
Abundance don’t mean there ain’t lows
And success don’t mean that you’ve grown
Ch. So look for the light in the dark and the night
And remember that when you go walking
That I find delight with you by my side
Cause I love you and this little life.
I had a hotdog with Jesus and When I asked if he see us
He took a big bite and he told me to live…

Great song! :-)
